Yellowstone Art Museum

The Yellowstone Art Museum in Billings was the only thing open in the entire town on a Saturday afternoon. We had the place to ourselves and it was wonderful. Native American art--political and social statements that made you heart stop. Her, a local artist had a temporary exhibit on one of the wonders of Yellowstone National Park--the Morning Glory Pool--envisioned from below the surface in the hot, colorful waters. The exhibit was closed off by black curtains. The lighting inside was low, cool blue. The camera refused to capture this mood. I present this picture anyway.
