| A short ride out of town brings you out of the Great Falls Valley and up to the plains surrounding the town. Endless fields of wheat dominate the landscape. After a turn or two, and after a short drive on a dirt road, you come across the Ryan Dam. This waterfall almost defeated Lewis and Clark as they made their voyage of discovery to explore the new USA territory acquired in the Louisiana Purchase. |
